What guarantee do Micro Technologies and Sony offer on their products?

Micro Technologies offers a 90 day warranty on any used or refurbished equipment and a full manufacturers warranty on new equipment. All sony's products are also backed by their lifetime limited warrany. Sony's warranty information is as follows:

Sony Electronics Inc. ("Sony") warrants your data media product ("Product") against defects in material or workmanship for its normal, useful life, from the date of purchase. If Sony determines the product to be defective in materials or workmanship, Sony will replace the product at no charge or, at Sony's option, refund the purchase price shown on your receipt. To obtain warranty service in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, call 1-800-942-SONY (7669).You may send your defective product, postage prepaid, to: Sony Warranty Center 4275 West Main Street Dothan, AL 36305 with a letter that includes your name, address and phone number as well as a written description of the problem.
REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF THIS PRODUCT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE ORIGINAL END USER PURCHASER.
